My motorcycle trip to
Montana.
Hi, I'm Mr. Condon. I'm pretty sure the "About" page is supposed to have some other pertinent information regarding the website or other tech data, but I'm not really very TECH savvy! "About me!": That's right, there was a time I had hair! My wife and I both graduated from Chardon High School. I played soccer at Marietta College and Bowling Green State University. I graduated from BGSU. I have been married since June,1977. It would take a math degree to figure out how many years ago that was so, I'll leave that to someone else. I went through Naval Officer Candidate School in Pensacola, Florida, and was commissioned as a Naval Officer in June of 1980. While in the Navy, I served on the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN-69) (an aircraft carrier), and at Sabana Seca, Puerto Rico. I like things like: A good old fashioned egg toss with the kids, after all I'm just a big kid at heart (Puerto Rico), Coaching a 4 legged youth soccer team, (Pensacola, Florida), Getting dressed up for Halloween (Puerto Rico), My wife and I moved back to Chardon in 1991 after I worked at the Naval Air Station in Alameda, California, and in Seattle, Washington with the Navy's Morale, Welfare, and Recreation Department. Playing a little golf with some REALLY OLD friends, (Golf Hall of Fame, Florida motorcycle trip with my mom). Going on motorcycle rides with my wife, (New Mexico, Tennessee, Vermont, Massachusetts, North Carolina, Missouri, Virginia Beach, down the Blue Ridge Mountain Parkway, and Tail of the Dragon). Those motorcycle trips frequently end up with a nature walk to a waterfall. Playing my Mountain Dulcimer and/or Banjammer, (Townsend, Tennessee). I've been teaching at Chardon Middle School as the Physical Education teacher since 1996. I love my job and enjoy working with Chardon Middle School students immensely. I guess that about wraps up the "ABOUT Me" portion of this page. |
